A family hotel with a unique genius loci in the heart of Hukvaldy village – with a history going back to the end of the 19th century.

Hotel Hukvaldy stands in the heart of the village of the same name, with a unique genius loci you can feel in every detail. Its history goes back to the end of the 19th century, when the local taproom gradually grew into an inn and later into a hotel. In 1928 a business was founded here that bore the name of its founder – Hotel Mičaník. It is said that it was visited by Hukvaldy’s most famous native, the composer Leoš Janáček.
After several transformations, nationalisation and years of decay, the hotel underwent a sensitive reconstruction in 2006–2009 that breathed new life into it. Today it offers comfortable facilities for tourists, families and business guests while still telling the story of its past.
The hotel is an ideal base for exploring the beauty of the Beskids – whether you head to Hukvaldy Castle, the Valaška treetop walk, the TATRA Technical Museum or the Olešná water park.
Besides the beautiful nature that surrounds you as soon as you arrive, the Hukvaldy area offers many interesting destinations for lovers of history, technology and relaxation. Go on a trip, explore and enjoy the atmosphere of the Beskids.
